i used to be fairly active on here but have been away for years and am back for more.. first, a bit about me.

flowers were attached to the gates of the kingdom hall--ryde i o wight uk today in memory of keith playford, who lost his life aged 28 for want of a blood transfusion.
he was survived by 2 daughters.
although this kh was no way connected with him--it is the nearest to his neice--who placed the flowers in his memory.. .
I hope she tweeted that to the usual suspects (the atheists with massive followings) and gets some retweets, otherwise it's a bit small scale for just the bro who opens the gate and the passing pedestrians.

Consciousness is produced by the brain (which is part of the body), so when the body/brain dies, consciousness goes on.
So the answer to the question is no: consciousness does not end with the death of the body.
